What are the best gun magazines?

Precision Shooting and Shooting Sports are the only mags I read. Both are subscription only.

Precision Shooting is written by shooters for shooters. It comes in a plain white envelope for the discerning reader. Shooting Sports is a NRA publication for competitive shooters.

Libourel is now editor of GUN WORLD. First rate.

Doubters, of course, in the reliability of firearms reviews are very likely the same people who tell children there is no Santa Claus because it makes them feel superior. :neener:

I happen to have been born on Christmas, which makes me something of an authority on the subject.

Just because Santa doesn't stop at your house (he avoids grinches like the plague) doesn't mean he doesn't stop elsewhere. :D

The only magazine I subscribe to is American Rifleman because of my life
membership in the NRA. I rarely buy any mags off the newsstands anymore. After shooting for well over 30 years I just don't bother.

On occasion I will buy a mag now and then if its something of interest but I agree have to agree with most of the prior posters. Gun magazines just recycle the same old tired subjects and when they cover any new guns they all have the old "I never met a gun I didn't like" editorial attitude.
