What cheap ammo works well in the mini-30?

So I've read a lot about how the mini-30 doesn't handle steel cased/berdan primer ammo well.

I am interested in learning what cheap ammo (noncorrosive) works well in the mini-30.

Buy several brands of ammo and try it in "your" rifle. Each rifle can be different with what ammo it likes..............chris3

The Yugo brass ammo works great in mine! Steel cased, not so much...

He said non corrosive. That leaves out the Yugo milsurp.

Supposedly the MFS stuff that Cabelas was selling awhile back is .308 which would be good for an early Mini-30. Good luck finding any. I found some items re lawsuits or somesuch.

Fiochhi is popular. Prvi Partizan. Both Boxer primed brass.
