Some of you know that I make holsters for a variety of black powder revolvers. In between orders, and with too much time on my hands (snow and cold) I got to digging through my scrap leather bin. I had enough scrap to piece together a new home for my favorite Remingtons. The cross draw holster was a project tutorial on another forum. The buscadero rig was made entirely from scrap leather.

The end result is a historically incorrect rig that never was, but maybe should have been.

With any luck, spring is just around the corner. For me that means closing the leather shop for the summer and getting some range time. Actually, a lot of range time.

I shot my first b.p. ever, just the other day. It was a ruger in .44. Sadly it doesn't belong to me but I got and itch to own one now.

The pictures above don't help one bit!!

RH, I do make holsters for the Single Six, but do not have a flap holster design for that weapon. (anything is possible provided I have the correct weapon and barrel length to work from) I'm not in the shop so I can't tell you the barrel length.
