I have a third gen glock 23 with the green frame and has a crimson trace laser grip installed. The grip has new batteries and the tiny allen wrench to adjust. Also has all factory glock goodies (box, cleaning kit, lock) and I have 2 13 round mags and a 15 round mag. Also comes with leather holster and matching mag pouch. What should I ask. I was thinking 700 is that bout right or too much (thinking 450 for gun and 250 for grip) what do yall think. also is this a decent trade for a beretta and some cash to boot or flat out for a USP compact?

You could probably get $450 for the gun and three mags in a FTF deal. The grips are only $175 brand new via the internet.

I'd say you would be doing really good to get $600 for the package for a face to face deal.

You might get more selling to someone who does not know guns and gun values though.

thanks thats the kind of input Im looking for. I dont want to eat anything on the pistol but i dont want to be one of those people who think my guns worth alot more than it seems to be.

If you are looking for USP compact, you may have to fork over some additional cash to get it. What kind of Beretta are you considering? If it's a 92 (blued) you may get an even trade. Stainless 92, I'm thinking you'd have to throw some cash in. It all depends on the buyer/trader though.

Well, you can get a brand new Glock for $475 here in Ohio, the Crimson Trace for $229.00. Depending upon price and I always account for 25% depreciation on handguns once fired, I would consider $575.00 to be a fair price. You can never recoup taxes, that's the nature of the beast. Depending upon the holsters and mag pouches, I even allowed $50.00 in value in my calculations. So, $575.00 ballpark would be a fair bottom dollar price to accept without feeling raped. Then again, keep it and just buy the next one out right.

Sell the pistol privately!

The only way you will get a fair deal on your pistol is of you sell it ftf.
A dealer will only make an offer on a glock based on the wholesale price of a new glock. Unfortunately, new glocks are very inexpensive. A very good condition g23 w/night sights and 4 mags only netted offers in the 325-335 range from ore than one shop. With your crimson trace grips I would bet offers in the 400-425 range. From a ftf sale I would try 500-550.
Good Luck !!

Don't sell keep it. You will regret it later! That is an awesome set up and in my opinion will last you longer then the others. If you do i think that 600.00 would be a decent deal.
