What the heck are they calling the new 870 forend?

I'm talking about the synthetic field forend they're using on the newer guns - instead of being flat on the rear end (facing the receiver) it just tapers down to a gradual point. If anyone knows what they're calling it or the relevant part number, I'd be obliged; I'm looking to swap my wood furniture for a Hogue 12" LOP buttstock but don't want the Hogue forend - I have short arms and much prefer the field length. Hoping that I might be able to find one of these new ones for cheap - don't really feel like paying $32 for a forend since I'm already gonna have to shell out $55 just for the buttstock...

Thanks.

Any pics?

Do a quick Google for "Remington ShurShot" - it'll give you a better idea of what the stock set looks like by itself and mounted on a gun than my attaching a pic or two would. I've actually really liked the 870s I've handled with Speedfeed pistol-grip stocks (two so far); if Remington would make this ShurShot set in a 12" LOP, I'd probably buy one. I don't buy the perceived shortcomings of a pistol grip - the most popular seems to be "you can't buttstroke somebody with one!" IMO, if you're reduced to trying to buttstroke somebody while in control of a 12-gauge, your plan has gone horribly wrong somewhere.
