Forgive me, but it's another, "which one to buy" thread...

So you have a 9mm full sized pistol and a 7.62x39mm rifle. You're considering buying a CCW pocket pistol (P32 or P3AT) or a .22LR rifle (CZ 452). One allows you to CCW easily 24/7 in any weather, but the other allows you cheap and plentiful practice and plinking fun for a fraction of the cost of other rounds. Both guns are similar in price. You plan to get both eventually, but can't afford both right now.

Which one do you get & why?

Do you have a CCL? (or live in VT or AK?) If so, definitely get the Kel-tec or a J-frame. A pocket gun can be very handy.

Otherwise, if you can't conceal it, it's not all that useful. Get the 22LR rifle. Those are very nice to have too. :)

I vote for the .380. Then go to Wal-Mart and pick up a Savage or a Marlin to hold you over until you can pick up the CZ.

Ammo for your 9mm and 7.62X39! Buy it now. Buy cases of it. Buy as much as you can stand and then a little more. Then buy the new gun later while you watch the members of THR complain about how much higher the price of ammo has gotten.

LOL, HSO. :p I plan on buying ammo that I'll use, but I don't want to drive the prices up any higher than they already are. I try to avoid panic buying. 7.62x39 is outrageous enough already without everyone stocking up on 50,000 rounds "just in case" and running all the supplies dry & driving prices up further. Thankfully, 9mm is still reasonable, though it's bumped up in price in the last year. The ammo prices are one of the reasons I'm considering the CZ 452--that's what limits how often I can shoot.
