$2333+tax=$2450

But struck a deal for $1650
for the whole works.....:what:   :scrutiny:

Opinions?

The prices listed for the mosins are kinda high but assuming good condition the camp carbine, the win 1200 are decent deals.

I'd say, "Hopefully you didn't find this deal in the New Orleans Thrifty Nickle."

:D

However, if all of these are functioning weapons, I would say, Good Deal!" and "You're stealing the Marlin Camp 9."

So $299 is a good price for a Camp 9? A store around here had one for $225 for the longest time.

As for the purchase, if the Austrian is a carbine, it'll give you a good jolt.

Yeah. Camp Carbines go for $225-$250 around here. I'd say you still paid about $300 too much for the whole schmeer. The only one in the bunch that stood as a decent deal at the asking price in the Papoose.

I just put this into a spreadsheet, and here are the single prices with the 2450/1650 rebate:

167.69 Austrian Steyr Mannlicher 8x56R ,249.00
86.88 Hungarian M44 Carbine 7.64x54 w/bayonet ,129.00
121.22 Russian Nagant Rifle w/bayonet and sling ,180.00
221.57 SA 2000M Hungarian 7.62x39 (mac 90 style) ,329.00
67.35 Marlin Papoose 22 LR SS ,100.00
403.41 Mak 90 7.62x39 ,599.00
201.37 Marlin Camp rifle 9mm ,299.00
101.02 Winchester mod 1200 2 3/4 12 gauge 28in ,150.00
113.82 Alfa 1905 mfg. by Byeibar model 155 ,169.00
86.88 Russian M-44 w/bayonet 7.62 x 54 ,129.00

Those prices seem to make sense.
(The price in front is with rebate).

Around here Camp9s go for $350 and up and Camp45s go for $425 and up.

Check the prices on Gunbroker, they're going for that much or more.

I'd buy every Camp45 I could find for $225.
I'd even consider the Camp9s.
I could pay off my bills rather quickly.

Marlin 9mm Camp gun mag ???

Yes it was a great deal. The guy kinda Threw in the Camp Gun as I was making a large purchase from him, problem is we couldnt get the 9mm clip the SW5300 to fit into it and thats the only one Marlins specs for it I am in a quandry here trying to figure why it wont SNAP into place.

They are all in good shape. Pics are coming.

The Marlin Camp9 was designed to use the 12 round S&W 69 series mags (469/669/6904/6906)

Of course they can also use the 15 round S&W 59 series mags too, but they will extend out of the well a bit.

I always thought it was shrewd marketing for Marlin to design them to use a standard, easy available magazine.

Now If I could just find an original Marlin marked Camp 45 magazine...
