Where can i buy a swaged bullets 38 special ???

Hi, My question is where can i buy bullets 148 gr. HBWC swaged? I'm living in Canada (QC) and here the bullets are very expansive and hard to find, for example, 250 bullets are 29.99!!!!!. i thing there is one company to B.C but the freight is very high. Thank you.

Swaged 148 gr HBWC currently in stock at US$37.72 per 500. Not sure how much shipping to Canada will add to that.

I've been using them for a while, along with a number of their other lead and jacketed bullets, and in fact just put in another order.

Those Magnus Bullets are hard cast, not swaged.

Look at Powder Valley under "Cast Bullets" and "Zero". They show them to be cast, but Zero brand HBWC's are swaged.

Do commercial casters make anything in hollow base or hollow point? It seems the time involved using a 3-piece mold would make it time and cost prohibitive.

Nope - not the HBWCs. They're clearly listed on the web site (down at the bottom of the list, not with the other .38s) as swaged. I would think that Terry would know whether he's casting them or swaging them.

Hornady swaged bullets from Midway has been a winner for me.

Nobody commercially casts HBWC or even SW-HP bullets that I'm aware of. Least not on casting machines.

Magna casting machines don't have provisions for pulling mold plugs that form the hollow base, or HP cavity in the nose.
