So I'm looking to get some more Federal Fusion ammo. I only want 1 or 2 boxes. I'd buy a few at a time to save a little but I'm not looking to buy 10+ or anything. I see that Federal is offering a $5 rebate if you buy 2 boxes. It's on the Fusion ammo site. The two local shops around here I've seen it at are $29.99. One is a chain and one is a local gun shop. This seems high as 2 and a half years ago it was $17.99 and last year around this time maybe a month later I got some leftover at one shop for $17.99 and another shop had some for $22.99 I'm not sure how long they had it. When the shops sold that and got more in they both were more. So $30 a box seems crazy considering what It used to cost.
Anyway, like I said the $30 is the cheapest I've found. I've checked online with Midwayusa.com, gunbroker.com, Natchezss.com, and maybe one or two others I can't remember. Both seem to end up costing me around the same as it would at the store. Maybe a dollar or two cheaper but not much at all if any. The shipping is what kills the deal. When it's a $25 box of ammo and they want $12 shipping that kind of kills the deal.
Are there any sites I'm missing out on? Or anywhere else to get this where I can get it cheaper than $30 a box?
