Where to get BULK 5.56 LC brass

Anyone out there know of any reputable places that sell bulk 5.56 1x fired LC brass? My orders are normally 10k-20k in size and lately I've been having a real hard time finding suppliers that can meet my demands at the prices I can afford. When I think I finally found a good supplier they say anything on the phone but when the product arrives it's anything but what they say .

When I buy those in the amounts I order in I've always gotten the price down to .05ea shipped which is pretty normal if you look in the right places.

$.13 ea but they do have 33,500 in stock at the moment.

look on the gov liquidation auction sites. they sell it by the pound when you win the auction. you will normally be required to pick it up and you will probably need something that can lift several tons at a time, and a large truck.

I've bought brass at military scrap sales but it's generally 10,000 pounds or thereabout. See if you can find some buds to split a small auction lot or watch on Gunbroker for guys selling bulk brass. I've called a few of them and gotten about .045 a couple of times, but copper is higher now and I don't think you'll find it that low now.

Also remember that in govt auctions you have to take everything. Often there's a lot of blank brass in the lots, or otherwise unusable brass. Always examine prior to bidding.

I think it's going to be tough to find 5.56 brass right now for that price. Several months ago, $40/thousand was a reasonable price. Today it seems like it about twice that.

About 8 cent each, plus they come packed in a 50cal ammo can with 500 each.

I have ordered from them before, and all appeared to be once fired (primer crimp intact).

I'm selling tens of thousands for 8 cents a piece, and got a waiting list. May need to up my price. Been selling the mixed stuff for six cents a piece to a group that sells 300 blackout, like you.

Half the suppliers here have links that are for "mostly Lake City".


I'm having a tough time finding a good source for Lake City myself. Even the new stuff, which I'm willing to pay the premium for. Last thing I want for my High Power matches is over-stretched, rough SAW brass.

No freaking way would I pay 8 cents a round for once fired LC.
Prices will come back down after the election.
