Where to shoot in Northeast?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I live in the CT and would love to find a private place to shoot where I don't have to deal with idiotic range rules (no double taps, only certain types of ammo, no reloads, no drawing from holster, etc). Anyone in NY, CT, or VT own any land or know of any secluded places (like maybe an old abandoned quarry or an old abandoned outdoor shooting range or the like) that I would be able to go shooting at without any hassles? PM's would be fine if you don't want to make that secret place publicly known. Thanks!
