Which .223 (.224) bullet for AR reloading?

@AJC1 I've become a fan of Paul Farrell as well. While watching the video you put up I had the scene from "The Gauntlet" go through my mind. Walls don't offer much cover.

Hornady #2266 sound like what you're describing if you want 55gr pills. As a bonus, they're like 8¢ in bulk

there are two bullets that work well in the AR sierra's #1380 & #1390

I've used Sierra 1360's as well with great success.

Nosler Varmegeddon 55 gr work great as far as accuracy. I've never shot anything hunting with them. I got a bunch on sale and have not been disappointed with them.

Regular old Hornady 55gr FMJBT is about the cheapest blasting ammo you will find. Might not be the most accurate but they are cheap if you buy bulk. Or see what RMR has for target ammo.
