I concur. I recently got the 2-7x35 for an old Marlin 30-30, and I'm very pleased with it. But, the place I got mine was significantly cheaper than SWFA, or anyone else ( and I like SWFA).
I got mine at an operation called BigSupplyShop. They seem to be out of the smaller 2-7x35, but they have the 3-9x40 for $148, about $50 less than SWFA.

Also, their shipping was quite reasonable, and they shipped almost imediately, I give these guys two big thumbs up!!
Meanwhile, I'm surprised to hear all the recommendations for Bushnell, I wouldn't own a Bushnell unless it's their "Elite" series (of which I currently own two).
Other than the Burris, I'd also go with a Leupold, Nikon, Redfield (in that order). Some of the Weavers are also very nice and underated scopes. I have a V-series on a Marlin 60, and I can't speak highly enough of that thing.

Don't know what all you have available in OZ. I voted "other." If I wanted a quality scope for a rimfire, I'd opt for a Leupold. If I wanted economy, I'd buy another Mueller. I have both on rimfire guns, and both work very well for their application.

Of the ones you have listed, I'd go with the Burris.

I would highly recommend a Clearidge RM scope. Put Clearidge Optics in your search engine and check them out. These scopes are right at 250 dollar. Everything is made and assembled in Japan. Alll have a adjustable objective which is nice for eliminating parallexl at any shooting range. Great clear glass.

I just picked up my 3rd Nikon Pro Staff. By the way they are ON SALE at Cabela's for $119.00, right now.
Like I said I have 3 of the rimfire ProStaff on the 10/22's , they do a great job for me. Actually all of my glass is Nikon. Got a P223/3x32 on the AR, and a 3-9x40 Buckmaster on the 30-30

THis is the wife's 10/22

SWFA fixed power. They have from 10 to 20. Beautiful scope and glass for the money. On par with Vortex as far as clarity. Just my honest opinion.

I just put a Redfield Revenge 6x24 on a Ruger 10/22LVT. Adjustable AO so you don't have to worry about it. $200 on sale at cabelas, $205 online...don't remember where though. And for a review ? I LOVE IT!!
