Hey everyone, I currently own an FNP-9 and am looking at getting a revolver as well. I've narrowed it down to a Ruger, though S&W is still on the table. I got the prices below from a local gunshop. They don't carry them in stock but can order them from the factory. The gun will be primarily a home defense and range gun...

What do you all think, which one would you get? Are these pretty good prices?

Thanks for the help.

GP-100 blued with 4” or 6” barrel: $439.00 plus tax
KGP-100 stainless with 4” or 6” barrel: $479.00 plus tax
SP-101 stainless: $419.00 plus tax

Of those options, I would choose the 4" GP100. Since it sounds as though size isn't an issue, you might as well go with the larger framed 6-shot option. I'd pick blue, but I like blued guns.

I know its not on your list but j&g has s&w model 67's for 240.00. 4" 38 special with adj sights. It's not a 357, but it will do as a home defense and will be a great range gun long after you "out grow" it.

I've been leaning towards the GP100, thanks for the tip about J&G, I will have to check it out.

Since you won't be carrying it around all day, go with the 4" GP100. A 4" .357 has always felt like the most balanced barrel length to me and the GP100 is a hell of a revolver. Those prices look ok by the way. Not a steal, but definitely not horrible.
