White Lettering

I just finished doing up my safe-queen. Used appliance touch up paint from the local hardware store. I don't know if it's tougher, but I suspect so.

When I did my XD I used spraypaint. It was very simple. I just sprayed the paint into a clean coffee can then used a QTip to apply it the the gun. Gave it about 3 minutes to dry then rubbed it down with a clean cloth.

Testors Gloss White- i filled the letters above flush, let it set for an hour and carefully shaved with a single side gem razor blade (be very careful of the finish!) after a week i sprayed a little gun scrubber on a paper towel and lightly wiped off any excess :)

Built on Essex receivers with post-war Colt contract slides and post-war Colt "C in a box" barrels. The top one has Wilson internals and the other is and experiment with Fusion Firearm internals (so far I am impressed with the Fusion parts... only about 3000 rounds through that one yet)

Why go thru all that trouble to fill in the lettering, but if you want it to really stand out go to your local engraving shop and buy a fluorescent paint pen. The green really glows
