As the thread title states. Does anyone make aftermarket barrels for Glock? Will the 9x23 cartridge fit in a glock 17/19/26 magazine? I don't own a 9mm glock so I cannot test this.

I am rechambering a subgun in 9x23 WIN (Yes, blowback) and it should really get velocity out of the 10" barrel. Would like to know more info on if anything is commercial. I'm sure anything .38 super can be made to fire 9x23.

9x23 Win will not fit a 9mm P magazine of any usual make.
It is the same OAL as .38 Super but higher pressure, higher velocity.

I think there have been some Glock 20s converted from 10mm to 9x23.

9x33mm has an overall length of 33mm, so most 9x23mm handguns in my guess are probably converted 1911s.. probably using 9mm ejector, extractor, reamed out 9mm barrel with 38 super mags.. i dont know much about glocks, never liked them.. but if you could fit a 9mm barrel, extractor, and maybe a couple other parts into a 45acp glocks frame and slide, then theoretically you might be able to convert one.. not sure its worth the effort though

Lonewolf used to make a 9x23 conversion barrel for the G-20. I'd call em to see if they still have any available. You'd have to modify G-20 mags too.

Lonewolf currently offers a 38 Super barrel for the glock20 so if you call them (as the above poster mentions) they might have more information on what you would need to do. I wouldn't be surprised if they just told you to use the 38 Super barrel, as there are other pistols that seem to work well with both cartridges like EAA Witness/Tanfoglio. If they still have the reamers for 9x23 Win, they could probably just ream out an existing 9mm barrel for you.

Also Storm Lake and BarSto make barrels for Glocks. If you can't find one (might want to check Brownells and MidwayUSA as well), maybe try contacting one of these manufacturers to see if they will make you a 9x23 barrel.

The problem with Glock 20 is the magazine. You have to tighten up the feed lips. No real precise way to do that. Guys who have done the .38 super conversion have had reliability issues. Search over at Glocktalk.
IMO you're better off with a 1911 platform for 9X23 Win.

I don't plan on rechambering one of my Glocks, I was just curious. So I am guessing there are no new guns, and if you want to shoot said caliber out of a handgun you have to use a 1911 or similar frame. Perhaps a Witness.

Witness works (or at least my Match Elite does) for shooting 9x23 Win out of their 38 Super barrel. But I am really jonesing after a 9x23 Win 1911 Commander. I keep looking for a donor gun for the frame and slide, but they are hard to come by.

I have two 1911's chambered in 9x23

GREAT round killed by horrible marketing.
