The entire cache of British weapons stored by the Royal Nepalese Army has been purchased. This represents military history spanning nearly 200 years. These are REAL items of impeccable provenence. *All weapons pre-1898 are antiques. No FFL required.

British Pattern 1880 .450/.577 Short Lever Martini-Henry Infantry Rifle
$617.50

The Martini Henry, probably the most famous military rifle of the Victorian era incorporating the early “short†lever (bottom in picture) with 33†barrel in the new .45 calibre. This was the first manufactured breech loader to be adopted for general issue by the British Army. Internationally known for its role in the movies “Zulu†and “Zulu Dawn†it should be noted that at the Battle of Isandhlnana in January 1879 where the British lost its entire command of 1300 men, the Zulu’s suffered in excess of 2000 casualties. Followed by the memorable action at “Rorke’s Driftâ€, the Martini Henry Rifle more than any other represents British Colonial rule during the Victorian era. Good to Very Good condition. *Price includes shipping.

Museum Replicas has both pattern 1870 and 1880 Martini-Henrys in store. They're a wee bit spendy, but supposedly in good shape.

Ammo is available at Old Western Scrounger, but it's a hair spendy. Still, one of those would make a great addition to the collection...

Oh great...now I need a Martini! The wife'll just love that after my recent rifle purchases.

But I DO need one...

Seems to me to be overpriced. At about $450 they wouldn't be a bad buy. I say that as the owner of 7(?), 8(?) Martinis of various types and calibers. But they will probably sell all of them that they have. After all, they need to fund their lawyers for the FAL-kit fiasco case brought on them by the batfags... I want the Synder breech loader... :D

Wish they had done this two years ago. I would have been able to buy a couple.

Be nice if they'd learn to spell too. There's no excuse for an ad to have misspelt words. It's 'Isandlhwana'. Bloody foreigners.

<sigh>

If I hadn't just dropped $350 on a trench gun and $815 on my truck, one of these would be sorely tempting.
