Why are Hi-Power extended safeties SO EXPENSIVE?

I do not like the small the safety of the Hi-Power so I looked up bigger safeties. Why are they so expensive? $100 for a Ambi safety is horrible!

I dont know if this is what you are talking about but it is a little less than 100 but not much.

Anyway the ambi safety is useless unless you are lefty so you can scrape by for a little better than 50 bucks here.

Just like a divorce, they are expensive because they are worth it.

They are expensive due to supply & demand.

They probably sell 500 or a 1,000 1911 ambi-safetys for every HP one.
