Mr.G .. can't answer that for Smiths but if it makes you feel any better ... my Arg'y mags for BHP (and FEG) rattle when full ... take out a coupla rounds - and they don't! Function seems OK - rattle or not!
IIRC ... no one came up with an answer when I started a thread about it .. and could be same re Smiths ... tho don't know with your case whether Smith or after market mags.
