My local gun store is selling the Sig 220 for $647 and the 245 at $699 -- just curious, why the price difference? Is the 245 a better gun in this caliber?

It probably boils down to supply and demand.I don't see to many 245s in my area.Personally,I do not care for the 245.

Just a guess, but maybe it is because it is a CCW gun being slightly smaller in size..

I agree. Especially down here in FL where the CWP is very common and relatively easy to get. Any compact pistol designed for CCW is marked up just a little more. When I went to buy a 220 last December, the shop had about 6-7 used ones! I asked the guy why he had so many and if they were LEO trade ins. He said, "No. People want guns that are smaller and easier to conceal." Lucky for me because I really wanted a 220 and I had so many to chose from! The one I bought was LNIB, W.German, KE stamped! Down here the 245 goes for around $800 and the 220 around $750 NIB :what:

Is the 245 a better gun in this caliber?

Never shot one, but my 220 is super accurate and the trigger is like BUTTAH!!:D
I imagine the 245 is equal. It just doesn't fit everyone b\c of the short grip.
