Why won't KRISS chamber their carbine for 9mm ?

I'd buy their carbine if it were chambered in 9mm.

Are they selling that many 45 ACP versions that it is not worth chambering in 9mm?

I thought their system required a goodly bit of momentum to operate; they might have to re-size everything in the gun down a bit to work with the smaller loading. I do think a scaled down KRISS would be a lot more practical since they really are a large weapon. Balanced nice and whatever, but it's still a beefy package through the magwell area at the end of the day; a 9mm would be less so.

On the other hand, why isn't there a 10mm version, either? I'd think it would do a great job taming a round that legitimately is difficult for people to control.

Considering that gun looks like a Transformer that got force mated with a brush hog, The International Society for the Promotion of 9mm Para probably refused them rights to chamber it. That's intended as humor folks. On the other hand it makes the Calico look old fashioned and gorgeous.

I think a lot of people would snatch up any 10mm carbine, but maybe the marketing people at the gun companies know better...
