Only theoretically. The mathematical algorithm makes assumptions for convenience so it should never be considered an accurate representation of real world pressure. Even if it happens to get velocity right, the pressure curve is derived from too many assumed variables to be exact. It's a good tool but never a replacement for measuring true pressure.
The reason i ask is i am in the design process of a suppressor for a 338 spectre build I'm working on. I'm having trouble finding muzzle pressure data for the round. I need that to come up with can thickness needed for the working pressure. I usually use a safety factor of 1.5. Do you think quickload would be accurate within 50%?
