Gunsmithing. I have the professional set and can duplicate almost any finish. Polishing is done by hand in order to maintain the integrity of the original look. This keeps the flats and rounds from running together. I do a lot of guns that are in great shape no rust or pits just have blue wear and they look factory new at times.
The important thing is not that you have an FFL, but that, we do! We are allowed to ship directly back to you as it is your personal property, but only to you! For entire guns, an adult signature is required upon receipt.

I only blue December, January, and Febuary

Thanks

Ok guys all the guns I received this week have been blued and were shipped out this morning .Thanks Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Just got my 11-48 back. It was the one my Dad had for many years. It has a lot of miles on it from dove and quail hunting. It has been over under and through rabbit patches and on numerous duck hunts over the years.

All I can say is it looks Fantastic! It was in pretty sad shape.

I will post pictures when I put it back together. Working to night, will be tomorrow before I can put it together

Pics of 11-48,

Mr Tyler did an excellent job on this beat up 11-48.

Thanks

Everything I had was blued and shipped out this morning. Thanks and please let me know when you get them.

tyler4656: Read your thread about rust blueing. I am getting ready to rust blue an old Colt Woodsman. Have all the dings and scratches out and polished down to 600 grit. I realize that rust blue won't give the same bright shine finish as a good hot blue, but I had an idea. After the last boil and carding, I plan to put the gun on a buffer: polish only with no cutting action. What are your thoughts on this?

Do let me know if you plan on doing that later on. I might have stuff I would like to be blued but right now it is not a priority. For instance, one of the candidates I want to first get the rest of the parts and then fire it to see if repairs were satisfactory. Then, make it look nice

rehorne - Silly me. On the second picture as it seem to have a diamond pattern which I thought meant something went wrong with the finish on the left side of your 11-48. Then I realized that it was just the material pattern that it was laying against that transfered over when the 11-48 was photographed while resting on its non-ejection side.

What would you charge to do a Remington 514 single shot .22 rifle? I'd only send all the metal parts, not the stock.
