will fast twist rate affect pressure??

Ive got a pretty stout Mauser98 in .308 with a 1:10" twist adams&bennett target barrel. Some of the commercial stuff shows flattened out primers and it had me thinking about pressure. Headspace is a little on the tight side as it has a match chamber. I have not pierced any primers, and they have not started to balloon around the firing pin hole, when I get home I will take some pics and post them. But what is you guys take on faster twist rates and its affect on pressure. Thanks....

I personally think a 1in10 twist is ideal for a 308. The 30'06 has used that twist forever, and the 308 can come pretty close to '06 ballistics. Are you considering going to a faster twist than what you have?
A&B barrels sometimes take a little more break-in to smooth them out. How many rounds have you put through it?
I would not worry about the primer condition after firing unless the bolt is hard to open. The match chamber should not be a problem unless the neck dimensions are tight in the chamber and you are using brass that are max outside, preventing the brass to expand enough to release the bullet normally. That will raise pressures initially. Match chambers sometimes needs brass that have been neck turned to fit the chamber. Usually about .002 undersize I believe. True bench rest shooters would know.
Yes, as a rule, faster twists will spike pressures a little, but as always, each rifle has it's own rules according to its chamber and barrel dimensions and tolerances.
