Hello all!
I appreciate everyone's feedback and input regarding the centerfire world I'm inquiring about as its all new to me.
I recently purchased a Savage American .243 with a Bushnell Trophy Scope 4-12x40mm on Leupold rings and I've been having a blast with it. Got to put a few rounds through it and I'm starting to feel the centerfire addiction.
So, now I've got a CZ American 22-250 on the way and I'm looking for advice on optics and optical mounting. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the Burris Fullfield II Scope 4.5-14x42mm. I've read in many places that Warne rings are great fit for the CZ and was looking at the Warne site and this is where I have my question. They have quick detach and permanent attach and I'm assuming if I just plan on leaving the scope on there that I go with permanent attach? Also, the 1" vs. 30MM, is there one that will work better for my combo or that I need for my combo? Thanks for any help.
Now, onto the accuracy question...
I've read about glass bedding, free floating, trigger work, etc.
Looking at my setup, do you advise anything in particular for keeping them in tip-top shooting shape? Again, any input appreciated.
Thanks team!
