Had many a guy/gal come in with grandpa's old shotgun, wanting it fixed.
Priceless heirloom so they say.
Show them the Numrich's parts price and most are shocked, and say " not gonna fix it".
That just the part price.........never even get around to labor.

I have stories w my stuff, but they're my stories and my fam doesn't care to hear about em.
So when I die the stuff will be sold. They at least know what they are worth market value.

Everybody ooos and ahhhhs about the pre 64 model 94.

I have a cure for that attitude. Take three boxes of 30-30 ammo to the range and call me in the morning. :D :D

For many of us, a model 94 lever action 30-30 is as American as apple pie and baseball. And of all the 94's out there, the pre-64's are the most 'Murican of them all. ;)

Not curable.
Had a Big Bore 94 in .307.
Had a Canadian Centennial .30-30
Had three 9422M
Had a Marlin .44 mag
and a '35 Savage 99 in .300

the last was almost tolerable.

I do shoot a rem 760, 1963 (pre ';64 LOL) in .35 rem.
Like it just fine.

See, I don't see a pre-64 Win 94 on that list. Well THERE's yur problem! :D

Of course, if that pre-64 Win 94 wasn't given to you by someone you care about, then it still might not work. ;)

My son, who appreciates guns but isn't a "gun" person and didn't really grow up shooting guns (we mostly bowhunt), has only ever told me he wants one of my guns. Guess which one?
