winchester mod 1200

I recently purchased a model 1200 winchester ,ser.no.L885474. How do I find out the date of manufacture?

I have a 1200 that I modified into a tactical shotgun. I added an extended magazine and Speedfeed IV stock. It already had an 18 inch barrel. As far as the date it was made call Winchester and they may be able to help. They did when I called them about mine a few years ago.

Call Winchesters customer service and give them the model number.
I did this after buying a 1200 Defender to find that mine was built in 1978.
