Winchester Model 250

I recently purchased a Winchester Model 250 .22 lever action rifle. I'd like to find a free pdf download of the manual for this gun and also find out what year it was manufactured.

Any other information on this rifle will be greatly appreciated.

All the links that I found had nearly everything but the Win 250, which shared a connection with the 190, 270, and 290, I believe.

What would be the closest one to mine out of all the Winchester .22 lever actions? Maybe a manual for another would get me out of a bind?

As NCsmitty noted, it is closer to the 190, 270, and 290 then anything else.

I also have a 250 and there's not much out there on them. Mine is the deluxe version I believe with the nice checkering and is almost 100%. I have the schematic that was listed above.

I didn't think much about youtube. I assume that they may have a video on how to take it apart, but nothing as far as a manual.

dissasembly help

I can't find anything online (instructions/video) on how to take this thing apart. All I want to do is remove the forearm to refinish it. I have read online about removing the pin under the sight to be able to remove the magazine tube, which should release the forearm, but I'm still having trouble. Also, how can I remove the rear sight? I want to re-blue the barrel as well as the magazine tube.
