Could the serial number on a Winchester Model 37A 12 gauge single shot determine the year of manufacture?


It has a 32'' barrel.

If it has a serial number it was made between 1973 and 1981 when it was discontinued.

Prior to the 1968 GCA, they were not numbered.
There are no factory records for the yearly number of Model 37 shotguns produced from 1936-1963.
