Winchester Ranger with no model marks???

I'm looking at a Winnie Ranger in 20 gauge. There are no other markings on the barrel. I'd appreciate any info on whether this is a 1400 or another model. If it helps, the serial number is N976867. Is there a Winchester reference on line? That would help, also.
