My nephew is an LEO and he recently broke up a small gangfight with the aid of several other beat cops. Anyhow, amisdt the blood and assorted POS weapons like makeshift machetes and crude clubs which were strewn over the ground, they recovered what appeared to be a large carving knife. It had a 8" blade, full tang, wooden/plastic slabs reverted into the handle and the letters "WMF" printed on the blade. The W is on top of the MF. Anyhow, my nephew said that the edge was NOT chipped, looked scary sharp and it seemed like a quality cutting tool.
Can anyone ID the brand of knife and if so, what kind of quality/toughness can one expect from a similar knife from the same manufacturer?
