Greetings,

I am planning to buy Small, large and magnum pistol WOLF primers. It is for my 9mm, 45acp and 357magnum plinking.
Any comment if they are good? Any issue?

Thank you

I have yet to hear anything bad. With anything "new", don't by 100k of them, just in case they aren't very good. Let us know how they are.

I recently bought a whole bunch of the small pistol from Powder Valley. I've used them in .38 special and 9mm.
In 9mm (through HiPowers and CZ75) - no problems at all.
In .38 I tried them first in my two Smiths with the most "tuned" actions. Not extremely tuned - both are adjusted to be just barely 100% reliable with Winchester primers, which I used exclusively until recent component inflation.
I got about 10% misfires, but all went off with a second strike.
Next time out I brought a less tuned Smith and got about 5% misfires.
The next time I tried a bone stock model 10 and got 1 misfire out of about 100 rounds.
Long story short - I've got several thousand left and I'm going to use them for 9mm only. For revolvers I'll stick with Winchesters.

Like them fine

When I was unable to buy Federal primers (I have since found some) I tried CCI, Winchester and Wolf. My guns consist of some very highly tuned .45 revolvers and a couple of autos.

The results that I had were as follows:

Smith 25-2s would not ignite the CCI primers, Winchester had about a
40 percent failure rate while the Wolf had about a 15 percent failure
rate.

Glock 30 shot all with no problems

I reload my brass until it splits or I can't find it and I found that the Wolf primers (large pistol) are ever so slightly larger in diameter than any others. They still load fine using a hand held Lee Auto Prime but you can feel the tighter fit - which is O.K. for me as some of the primer pockets seem to wear so the larger diameter allows longer use of the brass.

At the price of the Wolf primers I now load all my ammo for the autos using them and reserve the Federal for the revolvers. Federal, by the way, ignite every time.
