My wife wants to take a shooting class and learns better in a classroom environment as opposed to private lessons. She would also like to take a women only class.

Does anyone know where in the Los Angeles area she would be able to attend one of these please. Thank you!

Preferred ranges are angeles shooting range, burro canyon, or any of the indoor ones in the area. Thank you.

Or do you think I should try to convice her to take some private lessons?

Ladies please chime in.

i am currently working on a book with the novice cw holder in mind, and dealing with small, easy to conceal weapons. its hard for guys to put away the macho, gotta be a 45 hold a zillion rounds, one shot stop on a t-rex, full tilt rig, alot of women i have taught, just aint that interested. they want a gun, a small gun that fits in a purse, thats simple, that they might shoot once or twice a year. its a chick thing, dont try to understand it. most like a revolver, its simple, actually the taurus 22 mag snubbie, seems to be the weapon of choice after all is said and done, it holds 8 shots, and the hornady v-max round clocks out of that lil guy at 1,450-1,500 fps. and that will work, it has little recoil, but a loud report, both an advantage in a gunfight. there are two models available. good luck

I can understand why any woman would want to take a womans only class and a whole lot of that reason was exactly what gun guy pointed out about some men.
Also we have two women here at work that took a class and the male instructur was such an a$$ that one of them mentioned he reminded her of the masochistic Dojo instructor from that old movie the Karate Kid.
I got the drift right away after hearing her say that.
