We are currently in the process of building two rifles that will be raffled off at our Silencer Shoot on September 20th 2008. All proceeds will go to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Tickets will be $10 for the 338 Lapua Magnum rifle and for the AR-15. The following companies have already committed to the fundraiser, and the parts have been rolling in steadily. Thanks to a great list of Silencer Shoot sponsors!

I’ll be updating this thread with new information on ticket sales, build specs, etc. For now, just a couple of teaser pics will have to do. Please keep up the interest as this will benefit a great group of people that have sacrificed so much for our country.

The rifles are coming along fast as well:

Tickets are available now for the raffle, just call to get them. They are $10 each or 15 tickets for $100. Just give me a call and I will get you set up. You do not have to be present to win.

We just got an exclusive picture from KMW of the WWP 338 rifle. It has been barreled by Jered and Dave at PAI and shipped to Terry at KMW for it’s stock, bottom metal, and pillar bedding. This is Terry’s new stock design, and we are pumped to be getting one out of his shop for WWP.

The build specs are as follows:

• Surgeon XL Action
• Krieger 1-10” twist 23” barrel
• KMW McMillan Sentinel Combat stock
• KMW bottom metal
• Tuned Remington trigger
• AAC Titan silencer
• USO SN-3 mil/mil scope
• Seekins rings
• KMW/Harris bipod

Special thanks to Terry, Jered, and Dave for their quick work with this project!

Funny you bring this up now - I'm sitting here at work wearing my "Wounded Warrior Project" shirt ;)

Great prizes for an excellent cause. Fletcher, I'll be calling to get my tickets this afternoon. I've been to the last 3 Silencer Shoots and have had a wonderful time at each. The quantity & quality of the door prizes is worth admission by itself, let alone the quiet fun to be had by all.

very nice, great cuase as well.
raffle tix for rifles..I'll be getting some,

door prizes are outstanding.. I guess you need to be present for them?

Once again, you don't need to be present to win. We also have been given a couple of Emerson knives and Remington was kind enough to donate some ammo for each of the rifles.

The rifle looks great. Since I live in NJ it is completely illegal to have a silencer or to be threaded to accept the silencer.

What is the Wounded Warrior project?

i have a Q if i win the raffle and get the rifle with silencer since im only 18 i dont think i can own a silencer

could i get just the rifle and donate the silencer as another prize?

THE prizes are yours to do with as you wish. If you can't own any one item, then sell it.

You do not need to be a Georgia resident to win.

Thanks for all the support.

wow, makes me wish i had some spare cash for some tickets.

Depending on the looks of the AR i might have to see if i can squeeze some cash from somewhere!
