West Virginia and Colorado have signed a reciprocity agreement. West Virginia has also made it official with Georgia and both honor each other now. West Virginia in the coming weeks should start honoring Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire & Nevada. Wisconsin is iffy as Wisconsin only honors WV permits issued after 6/8/12. WV changed their law on how they run background checks and to WI that is everything when it comes to them honoring a state.

Holders of Missouri and Rhode Island Permit/Licenses. Nevada has dropped both those states and no longer honors them. Those with a Idaho Permit/License Pennsylvania has stopped honoring your Permit/License. Other RKBA’s Orgs are still reporting that NV honors MO and RI and that PA still Honors ID. I don’t want to see a good Guy/Gal lose their right to carry because of some out of date info.

Which brings up the point that you shouldn’t trust anything you read on the web without verifying the information. It is you that will pay the price. We try to have all the relevant links to state sites to confirm the information on Handgunlaw.us. I am human and humans make errors. We try to make sure all the information is correct but we are human. Again confirm the information as it is you that will pay the price.

Once in a blue moon even confirming may not be enough. I want to also add that over the years I have seen states make major errors on their state websites. Most have been very quick to correct the error when it was reported to them. Some have left incorrect info up for over six months. Two different states over the years have listed Massachusetts as a state that would honor their permit/license. A couple have dropped a state but left them listed on their website. Many have a disclaimer just like www.handgunlaw.us has. They state that the info is not legal advice or that it is listed as a convenience to the citizens of the state.

Handgunlaw.us has been updated to show the changes listed above.
