102 Is a stark reminder of the destructive power of nuclear weapons. 70,000 people dead in the blink of an eye. And that was only a mere baby bomb compared to what we have these days. A sobering thought.
 
I look back in awe at the dedication, coordination, and devotion to the overall victory in WWII. The pure scope and size of that war, and with relatively low technology by todays standards - no computers, poor communication ability, very slow travel by todays standards... just amazing we could function so well on the other side of the world.
 
Gotta love how anything not directly gun, or conversation not directly gun related, gets locked down instantly but the WW2 threads always get to stay around.

EDIT: Nice pics though. Maybe I can be the first gun related post in this thread, after only 31 previous non gun posts. i really like the Thompson SMGs the guys in front of the jeep are using!
