XD Trigger Slap?

Has anyone else experienced trigger slap when firing Springfield XD's? I had the opportunity to rent an XD-9 at a local range this weekend, and I swear that the trigger slapped my finger after every shot. It's the only pistol I've ever fired that slapped my finger.

Must have been a problem with the range gun then. Mine doesn't slap my finger at all.

MY XD9 Tactical doesn't have trigger slap. I've fired teh subcompact as well and it didn't have trigger slap.

No slap on mine. Perhaps you're feeling the trigger safety moving beneath your finger on recoil? Just a guess.

The only gun I've experienced trigger slap with was a Cobray M11/9. I now understand why it had a rubber pad wrapped around the trigger when I bought it...

...no slaps on my XD40 either... for some reason range guns aren't kept up well enough...

...that's one of the reasons why i got turned off by GLOCKS, it jammed and wasnt accurate...i used rentals...

I don't think I've ever heard of that complaint. I've had my HS2K for well over 3 years, and never experienced it.
