Yay, I finally got some more ammo

I hit up Walmart today for Easter stuff for the kiddos and made a trip to the ammo counter.

In stock they had
4 boxes of .243, I bought the 3 100gr boxes. There was one 80gr, but I'm not after squirrels.

1 box of .44magnum. The cashier said it was the first box of .44 they've gotten in almost 6 months.

Several boxes of .30-30, so I bought an extra box for a rainy day.

The cashier also said that they'd gotten in about 2 cases of 9mm and sold out in about 10 minutes.
 
I went to the one in Weatherford today. I bought 2 boxes of Winchester [500] 22 LR. First time I have seen it there in many many weeks. They also had WWB 45acp.
 
I'm happy for you guys,but you should ALWAYS be stocked up,and learn to reload.What if there were a REAL emergency,and Wallyworld was CLOSED,possibly for good?What would you do then?All it takes is one good earthquake or twister to cut off your supplies for days,possibly weeks.
Good for you guys that are stocking up.Now,try to keep it that way.
 
Stopped by the Dicks in Cumming, GA, today. They had .45acp , .40S&W, 9mm. Not a lot, but some. They also had 22lr bricks of Winchester.
 
Good for you. If i had plenty of money I'd buy all the most popular ammo I could, I feel it's value will go way up in the not to distant future.

I just got the .243 and the .44 though, and ammo isn't as plentiful as I'd like.

The .30-30 though, I just bought a box to add to the surplus, ya can never have enough .30-30
 
here in my neck of the woods, the wally worlds are still empty, but my local gun shop is chock full of everything :)
 
I managed 100 rounds of CCI Stingers yesterday from the local WallyWorld. Everything else was gone, as is usual these days.

It's definitely Old Mother Hubbard time at all the ammo outlets, it seems. When I get there, the cupboard are bare ... once again. :mad:
 
.22 ammo

BHP, If you really get in need I can get you a brick of rem thunderbolt.I bought a brick every time Billary opened her mouth on health care and the evil .22hp. This stuff is from a decade or so,decent quality,not like the bulk paks.
