Every time some one gets a new gun and reports on how great it is....I need one.........I have a VERY limited gun fund...you guys are killing me........it like going to the gun shop 20 times a day and fondling guns......man I gotta win the lottery or something.........even TropicalZ almost has me talked into a Hi-point:neener:
So many guns for so many different uses...and I only got 3...........this place is kind of Love- Hate....ya know????:uhoh:

You know you want them.

And you probably don't even have a C&R license...

I'm still waiting for mine, but I still drift over to AIM surplus, I/O, and others to drool...I think I've spent about $10k in my head already...

Hi-Point???

Wanting that.....thing ....is the problem, in and of itself.

Now, as to the images in the post that preceded this one....not having funding to support that particular problem is, I concur, a problem. :(

You don't need to win the lottery, consider some forum favorites if you will:

-Makarov $100-150. Cheap ammo. Dead reliable pistol
-CZ pistols Around $350 for CZ-75/EAA pistols.
-Rem 870 SG, 180 or less for good used one.
-M-44 Nagant carbine. $40-120. Cheap ammo.

There are plenty of other low cost high quality options. All you need to do is make a commitment to what you want to by and save some money you would otherwise waste. 20 bucks a week not spent of fast food or movie popcorn will be a Les Baer in a little more than a year's time.

Yeah,Navy Joe,you're right,I just can't seem to save anything lately......if could stop shooting all the ammo I buy maybe I could save some $$.......maybe it's the time of year.......Christmas bills, broken pipe yesterday in our rental apartment.....crap like that.......I have 2 jobs now and sometimes we're close on the bills.....don't get me wrong I shoot alot and spend money on IDPA and ammo and stuff.....just not as much as I COULD......

Tony, if you haven't taken a ride out to Shooter's Highland in Valatie, you owe yourself a trip. I was there last week and the display cases were overflowing with all sorts of nice SIG's, Kimbers, etc. :D

That's odd...

There's nothing in Skunk's collection pictured above that I have even the remotest desire for. All I could think was that if I had the items in those two pictures, I could sell them and buy something different with all the money. ;)

TonyB, there's gotta be something you probably need though. A WWII Remington 1903A4, perhaps?

Yeah. TonyB's right. If you people keep posting pics like this, we'll never have two dimes to rub together. :uhoh:

And I have a BIG problem with Sean Smith, Dave Markowitz. & Gewehr98. You guys aren't supposed to be showing off stuff like that. You're only supposed to show the "tactical" stuff (i.e. Skunk's collection) so everybody will go buy it & leave all the good stuff for us to buy up cheap. Y'all keep showing pics like that & EVERYONE will buy them & drive prices up...:banghead:

(Rant mode off) :D

Now I'm gonna have to go home and get mine out to look at them!:D

Maybe Skunk has something going there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Whatta collection! The only downside is cleaning them all after a day at the range.

Nothin' Skunk has I want either..

I'd sell it all and get another Mauser..

I'd sell the Berettas and get a Kahr.

I'd sell the USP's and get another Steyr.

I'd sell the shotgun and get another bottom eject Browning BPS.

I'd sell the P7 and get a Ruger GP100.

After doing all that, I'd still have like $1500 in the pocket for ammo and lessons.
