A Steyr TMP!!!!!!!!!:what: :what: :what:

I didn't know these existed in the states. I was so excited that I didn't get the price.:( It was so cool to see something like that besides the usual MAC or UZI.

Have you guys ever seen a TMP for sale?

BTW, that gun show had some great deals going on. TONS of cheap ammo, decent prices on mags, some good prices on guns.

Oh, and everywhere I turned somebody had a PS90 or FS2000 for sale on their table, they seem quite popular now.

I've heard about them but never seen one. Those would have had to come in just under the wire in 86 if it's transferable. That was a brand new design around that time. I thought they were actually newer than that.

Wonder if it was a post-86 dealer sample. Pretty much had to be unless I'm way off on when those came out.

Very cool. I bet the price was staggering.

Once saw soemthing strange at a gunshow, my first and only one so far. This was years ago and it was mainly old ww2 rifles, mainly arisakas. But one table had somethign i still cant place.

It was basically 2 guns joined into one, both barrels had ventilated shrouds, and it had a single 30 cal browning type handle on it. And it was belt fed , price was 1300.

A Steyr TMP? How exotic and totally cool. There's a reason right there to blow five bucks on a gun show - you may see something really neat, even if it is far beyond your (or my) means. I've seen, among other things, a Union Switch & Signal 1911A1, a real MG34, and an original select-fire Armalite AR10 at local events. They are, after all, gun "shows". :)

Are you sure it wasn't a Steyr SSP? If the price was less thatn $2000, it was mostly likely a SSP. If it was more than $2000, it still probably was an SSP.

Jorg, yes I believe it was an SPP which is a semi auto version of the TMP. It didn't have the forward grip because otherwise it would constitute an AOW which is regulated by the NFA.

I just didn't know the proper name. Still bad ass in my book!:D

This is exactly how it looked.
