Sort of a gun song....playing Fallout: New Vegas, I got introduced to a tune called "Big Iron..."

ETA: looks like that one is popular!

Also saw some others in the comments I'd overlooked: ".45" by Shinedown, both versions of "Bad Company..."

And I'd almost forgotten:
"Johnny shot the jukebox, last night
Said it played a sad song, that made him cry
Went to his truck and got a .45...."

Oh, also.... "I Hung My Head" by Johnny Cash

"Early one mornin' with time to kill
I borrowed Jeb's rifle and sat on the hill
I saw a lone rider, crossin' the plain
I drew a bead on him to practice my aim
My brother's rifle went off in my hand
The shot rang out, across the land
The horse he kept runnin', the rider was dead
I hung my head, I hung my head"

Always reminds me of the four rules.

Don't take your guns to town - Johnny Cash

I had every TV Cowboy gun set there was,,,
I was in the 3rd or 4th grade when this song came out,,,
I was a "Wild Bunch" of one when I stepped out the house to play.

I remember how on many occasions my Mom would sing this song to me,,,
When I went out to play shoot-em-up with my compadres.
