Ok here is my new years resolutions and I have two!

#1 get serious about my competitions and quite screwing around!

#2 NEVER Ever take a bad off hand shot NEVER!

Goals in this order of importance

#1 make the first team on the state teams for the nationals

#2 help the a junior team place high in the whistler boy match

#3 get the last few points to leg out

#4 get on the stage at the nationals

#5 do well enough to satisfy myself

Jon

Get in good enough shape so I can shoot High Power matches again.

Shoot some pistol and subgun matches.

Take a training class or two.

Hopefully I'll actually start going to some competitions. Interested in High Power, took the clinics at Buffalo Creek GC, now just gotta make it to a match.

That's the plan anyway.

If you ever want to get some practice in just call me and we can go up. Are you a member of the club? If not thats not a problem either.

Get more active and drop 20 lbs.

Build up ammo supply.

Get fixed sights and new springs in BHP Practical

Replace flanged bushing and re-stake loose slide-stop (can't remember the name) on Colt 1911.

Find different job. (maybe self employment again).

Clean up unfinished personal business.

Performance goals -

- Stick to my training plan during the off season.
- Call my hits with at least 80% reliability (in practice and matches.)
- Reliable 1.0sec draw in competition.
- Reliable 1.0sec reload in competition.
- Run the IDPA classifier in 85 seconds.

Competition goals -

- Win my division in at least one local USPSA match.
- Top 10 at the MD State IDPA Championship.
- Top 10 in my division at the Area 8 championships.
- Attend at least three major USPSA/3gun matches and shoot to the best of my ability.
- Build up an MOR and try my hand at some sniper matches.

- Chris

This will be my first complete year of highpower competition. First thing's first, I'm gonna shoot across the course. And I want to earn an expert classification at least. Getting my first LEG points this year is on the list too.

Jon -

Appreciate the offer. Might have to take you up on that sometime.

No, I'm not a member (yet). Was considering it then got busy with work and such and had to set it on the back burner.

Did appreciate you guys putting the clinics on, they're a real help on getting introduced to the sport. Now to make it to a match :D

1. Give more to charity than to tacticality
2. Stay on my frontsight
3. Carry a camera and knife every day. (void where prohibited by law)

-Make expert in IDPA ESP.
-Make something in USPSA that isn't D (shot my first match last week, hopefully I'll make C after the first run through of classifiers)
-Go to area 8, get smoked, have fun :)

Shoot more major matches. Make USPSA Grand Master with a 1911 single stack.

1) Attend enough 'approved/registered/sanctioned/whatever' matches to actually get classified so I can get rid of this stupid temporary score book.

1a) Try to attend *at least* one XTC match per month this coming year.

2) Debug the gun carriage (i.e. the shooter) and figure out what my major malfunction is in Slow Prone w/ iron sights.

3) Start some (any) kind of exercise regime to slowly get back in shape (round doesn't count).
