I've already posted this question on another forum, but thought it would get more traffic here...

In visiting various other boards I occassionally see posts saying how someone wishes a certain gun manufacturer would add a 10mm to their lineup. I myself have chimed in supporting such ideas, but I was curious as to what you guys would think would be the best pistol platform/design for a new 10mm. So, from the list below, what would be your first choice for a "new" 10mm?

Damn, the CZ totally slipped my mind! I also should have put in a Ruger P-series like the P90. Oh well, maybe the next survey... ;)

Another vote for a 10mm HK; preferably a MP5K PDW with a 4.5 inch barrel, folding buttstock, and a 30 rd. semi-translucent magazine.

Oh, right.. "From the list?" I'd like a HK USP in 10mm. :uhoh:

I voted SW99, though I was mighty tempted to pick the HK USP. I picked the SW99 because I like the design, and the price is a lot more reasonable. If the USP compact were available in 10mm, I'd probably cough up the money and buy one. I hate to see votes "wasted" on a 1911 or Glock - you can already get variations of those pistols in 10mm if you want them. I'd be excited about almost any medium-sized, fairly light, traditional double-action pistol in 10mm. Most of the few currently available are full-sized, heavy pistols...or Glocks.

I'd definitely get the HK USP in 10mm. That is, if I can find that ammo over here.

That cartridge is even rarer than a solar eclipse. :what:

I haven't shot an S&W 99, but I did get a chance to fondle one at my local gun store a while back. I really felt good in my medium sized hand. As a lot of people seem to like the Glock concept, but don't like the size of the G20 grip I thought this might be a good compromise. If the S&W 99 .45 can hold eight rounds I think it should hold at least ten rounds of 10mm and yet still have a grip that would fit more people.

My vote would be for the HK only in the p7m8 variety (yep keep it single stack)

Then another not on your list, the Kahr K10

Followed by not a new one but Colt reintroducing the delta in a series 70

I voted a Commendersize but not Colt and with a ramped barrel. Out of my 3 10mm's I like the feel, sweet shootin, and sleek carry of my Pre II Kimber.

I would be interested in a Ruger P which was already originally designed for 10mm and that would do everything a Sig and H&K could do for less than half the price. The Sig would but nice but have to be all steel to handle it and that just makes it onother bulky heavy 10. Theres no way a BHP frame could take 10mm. The CZ would be nice but the Witness does just fine already.
