Yugo M-57 Barrel Interchangeability??

I am new to this forum, but have been a gun owner for hmmm, 50 years. I have a question. I have 2 Yugoslavian Tokarevs. Will any of the Polish, Roms, T-33 barrels interchange with mine? Also, Will the firing pin and springs interchange. I have searched the sites for a week, called all of the suppliers, and no one seems to know.Thanks all for your help.

The full size yogo is interchangeable with other toks, but the baby toks, like the M88 are not. I have heard that you can make a 1911 9mm barrel work, but you have to get or make a customized bushing.

Thank you. Thats great news. The internet is quite vague on the Yugoslavian Tok parts being interchangeable with other COO Toks. I need to pick up a 7.62 barrel and firing pin. None of the parts listings say "Yugo Tokarev". Again, thank you for your help.

Don't mean to hijack, but what about other parts?

For example, my Yugo hammer occasionally strikes too lightly.

then you might
1 need to clean cosmoline out of the FP channel
2 possibly replace the hammer spring
3 check to see if the ammo you are shooting has hard primers

#1 fixes most guns

So, I wonder how the Chinese Barrels are. Also, does anyone know if the firing pin and spring on the Pols and Roms will interchange with my Yugo?

should work, as they are what most people use to convert a East Block pistol to 9mm
