Anyone know where I can find one without paying tons of $$? The one I have does not need replacing, but I have one of those Advanced Technology stocks that mounts a scope. I have it on an older Mauser with the barrel shot out, and it improved its accuracy enough that I want to put my M48 in it and see how it works. Since the bolt handle on the M48 would hit a scope, I need a second bolt to use the ATI's bolt handle conversion kit, and I don't want to destroy the original matching numbered bolt. I also understand that the bolt of a Yugo M24 would fit an M48? TIA for any info.

Head Space??

You can not just swap the bolt with out at the very least checking the headspace. I think you would be very lucky if a second bolt would pass Go and a NoGo.
Be safe.

M 48 bolt

M 48 bolts are about 1/4" shorter than K 98K bolts

I chose such for rebarrelling a M48 I wanted to shoot the shorter 7.62 x 39 that I reload

Be careful you get an M-48 bolt and. as you were advised, do a headspace check on it since the bolt's origins are undefined
