Hi guys,

Just found this pen at Wally World after someone recommended the Zebra line for a tough EDC pen that can double as whatever.

I give it a big thumbs-up. All stainless barrel, knurling for writing, sleek and attractive, good pocket clip, and writes nicely. I got it in black, not sure if it's available in blue; I like fine writing pens, and this one is 0.7mm.

Check it out if you'd like. It was about 5 bucks.

Oh, and this has more to do with the pen itself than with SD applications, but it has a "soft clicker" that doesn't make that click noise...

All in all a nice, tough pen. I can't imagine what the cold steel, benchmade, etc pens offer that this one doesn't, unless they are much bigger.

Wow... I have been recommending that pen to everyone.... In quite a few threads here even.

Exact pen, just couldn't find it on their website.

walls of the body are close to 2mm thick probably. Very stout. and smooth as silk to write with. Got it and 2 refills for $7.

Use it at work all the time, jotting notes and such. haven't had to replace the first ink tube yet.

And in a pinch.... it could be very useful. and not be "tactical" in court.

I wish there was a way to replace the aluminum screw-on tapered tip. (The tip and clicker have a much higher shine and are obviously not SS.) All in all though, a nice pen in general and a very nice deal.

^ There is some discussion on that site of modifying the plastic cone at the top of the pen, but it is confusing as heck to me...and not made any better by the fact that the thread seems to start on the bottom of page 4 and end at the beginning of the first page...

Oh, and they also take Fisher space pen refills.

701 with a Zebra 402 clickie instead. All-metal. The cord wrap is neat too.

Well, that right there makes it a winner in my book!

A pen without a Fisher refill is just a pen that won't work when you want it too!
