Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures. I picked up the package earlier today but I was helping a buddy prep his bike for a track day event coming up next Monday so things were pretty busy. However I did steal him away to take a picture of me with the new toys. We actually took about 10 but a few were too fuzzy (how in hell he manages an out of focus picture with an autofocus camera is beyond me but that's Eric for ya!), some had me grinning like to scare the kids and the ones where I tried to look mean like an ornery outlaw just looked like I was suffering from heartburn. So I went with the rather mundane but focused shot shown below.
These are consecutive serial number 1858's in your basic blued finish with brass trigger guards and medium dark wood grips. Nothing exotic to see here but for the price I got on the pair I'm more than happy. They have both been fired a bit but precious little according to the seller and they look like they live up to the claim. Very bright and shiney bores on both with just a trace of detent marks on one with none on the other. This pair also came with one extra cylinder and a set of Uncle Mikes nipples so I've got some alternatives to play with.
Next up is to order up a holster rig for them. I'm going low gunslinger on the right to aid in drawing out the long barrel and high mount cross draw for the left hip so I don't need to flip it from hand to hand or at least I can draw the left side from around the cylinder to aid with transfering to the right.
Without further ado here's the proud new parent of his pretty looking set of twins.
