I tried contacting them but couldn't get anyone, so I don't know if it's just that they don't have them listed as out of stock or if they really have them. Same with Jedediah Starr, I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone to make sure.Fall Creek Suttlery lists a bunch of models as being in stock. --->>> http://www.fcsutler.com/fccwrevolvers.asp?
Apparently I spoke too soon. Tried ordering from them and their supplier is out of stock. So it looks like they are listing inventory they do not have. Guess I am still on the hunt for a nice 1858 44, preferably with adjustable sights.
FWIW, last week I ordered two Pietta Dance revolvers from Jeddiah Starr and received them two days later via FEDEX.
One is mine, the other is a birthday gift for my dad.

I just checked EMF's website and the only two black powder revolvers they have listed as "Limited Quantity In Stock" are the Dance Bros. revolvers. Everything else is still "Temporarily Out Of Stock."
I have a relationship like that with one of my suppliers. We’re their biggest wholesale customer and they take care of us. Still, a pump system I ordered in June (from Italy) just arrived December 15th. Italy is struggling under the weight of the epidemic. That's interesting.
I have a hard time believing that they don't have priority receiving guns as an importer, and are simply choosing to distribute them as a wholesaler instead.
I think that maybe EMF don't want to undercut the other businesses that they supply, since the other companies rely on them for guns to sell.
How recent are the proof marks?
Are they Pietta or Traditions?
I ask because I wonder if they're getting new stock from EMF, and if EMF is supplying other outfits instead of selling directly.
Any one here have a LeMat ?View attachment 974909 Why would I want one ?
Hell just because .
Hi. I am brand new to the HIGHROAD and to Black Powder. I know this is an old thread but I wanted to ask if Jedediah Starr Trading Post is a good and reputable place to purchase from? I have bought supplies from Graf, Midway, Dixie and made a few eBay purchases. I appreciate your time and any advice you might have. I have an Uberti Walker, Uberti 1858, Uberti 1851 Navy circa 1962 and have yet to shoot any black powder. :-( I have been combing the internet since October/November for great information to help educate me on proper and safe practices. I have found a lot of great info on the HIGHROAD and finally just joined. I am just taking my time and looking forward to the day I actually go shoot some. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing back from you when you have a moment. Thank youOh yes, and lest I forget to mention it, Jedediah Starr appears to have a selection of revolvers in stock: Jedediah Starr Trading Co. On Line Store (jedediah-starr.com)
Dave,FWIW, last week I ordered two Pietta Dance revolvers from Jeddiah Starr and received them two days later via FEDEX.
