The OP asked, "Anywhere I cannot carry other than the usuals..." DW is private propertys so, Micky Mouse will throw you out of the House of Mouse. My wife went last month (we get yearly passes) and they were wanding people on the way in, et. al. Bags are subject to a cursory search and has been this way since 9/11 ... see item #8:

This is wrong. Although it is against their policy, you can still legally carry on property. However, you can be asked to leave property if they find out that you have the firearm. but that has nothing to do with it being a firearm. they can ask you to leave if you have a red shirt on and it is against their policy. All you have to do is leave. If you don't then you can be trespassed from property. Don't give them a hard time. They will escort you out. If you are respectful, you can ask to put it in your vehicle, and once you do, they will let you come back. If you feel that your vacation was ruined, you can call guest services and they will say it was their policy. Say that you didn't see any sign (they are all small and hidden). They will give you tickets to come back (but you still cant bring your gun, as far as they are concerned).

There is an option to check your firearm with security when you enter, but they don't check you well enough to catch a CCW. before I worked there, I would carry there all the time.

The good thing, in my eyes, is that they don't discriminate in who they take firearms from. They even require on duty law enforcement to check firearms, unless they are entering property on official law enforcement related business. I remember having to escort out an on duty FBI agent, who refused to surrender his duty weapon when he came to eat lunch. I'm not saying it's right, but it was my job, and at the time, I needed that Job.

You are have no argument from me on how DW carries out their policy (except on the occasions I have observed Orange County SO escort people from property, etc.). However, I NEVER said it was illegal to carry on their property - I said and you quoted me "You cannot carry at the Theme Parks." BTW, if you come back to the property with a firearm after being warned they can charge you with armed criminal trespass - a felony (we do the same thing at our range, etc.).

I was simply offering my personal experience. I didn't argue post #6, nor did I argue the first post. I simply stated what the policy was.

BTW, if you come back to the property with a firearm after being warned they can charge you with armed criminal trespass - a felony (we do the same thing at our range, etc.).

If you're asked to leave, then told to come back by someone, and they want you to leave again, that is two separate incidents. You can not be charged if you're asked to leave for the night and you come back the next day...but if you walk to your car and back, you can...and should be charged...

Sorry this series of posts digressed. As you can see you should not carry on the Theme Park property.

AWorthyOpponent, as far as coming back the next day armed AFTER the Orange County SO has checked your ID and warned you NOT to come back armed is a felony. Whether they decide to charge or not to charge is to their discretion.

It's perfectly legal to carry at Disney. It's done hundreds of times every day.

As for the trespass issue, it all depends on what they say when they tell you to leave. If it's "You need to leave for the day" then that's exactly what it means. If they say "Don't ever come back" that's what that means.

As for the SO getting your ID....there is no legal requirement that you provide the SO or Disney any information. In this case the SO is acting as an agent for the owner and not in an official law enforcement capacity.

OP: School property; police stations/jails/courthouses; airport terminal building - parking garage is OK; government meetings; bars - restaurants w/ bar OK if seated in 'restaurant' area; and professional or school athletic events.

State law fully preempts local ordnances.

Drinking OK while carrying. Just don't hold it in your hand or shoot it except for self defense, if you're impaired.
