I have a Smith lower with a CMMG mid upper, and a Smith lower with a Bushmaster upper. I don't care what resale is because I don't plan on selling them. They shoot fine and are dead reliable. I shoot them both more than I do my complete Colt.
I don't think anyone builds what you are looking for. Take the mountain lion out of the picture and 9mm, 357, 40, and 45 will all work fine. The PPK is a 380 and if you realize the limitations, can be a good self defense round but not my first choice. The Wather makes a PPS that is chambered in...
Kel-tec's haven't had any recalls because they won't make good on POS firearms. Not that all of theirs are POS, but mine was.
I'm glad Kel-tec has treated some of you well but I bought a P40 that never ran right. They would not/will not fix it. They stopped making the gun and will not even look...
So if you cut those little things that cost extra to buy more ammo, how much more 9mm can you buy?
If I thought the round I carried to save money was inferior I would pony up the extra cash. But I am just as confident in 9mm as I am in 40, 45, or 357.
The 26 for me. I like the lower bore axis. Not that you can't find good holsters for the XD's but everyone makes a holster for the GLOCK. I also like the fact that I can work on the GLOCK. Simple wins for me.
You really can't go wrong with either though. Same with the Walthers and MP's...
